I’m originally from Houston, Texas, and after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Infantry, I retired as a First Sergeant in 2018 and made Central Texas home. My wife and I have five children and two grandchildren, and family continues to be a huge part of my life.
After retiring from the Army, I spent several years as a substitute teacher before beginning my career in insurance. My interest in insurance became personal in 2025 when our home was hit by a tornado. My family spent eight months living in an Airbnb while working through a difficult claims experience with our previous carrier. That experience showed me firsthand how important it is to have the right coverage and people you can count on when life takes an unexpected turn.
In 2026, I joined Shaffin Wegener’s State Farm office where I enjoy helping families understand their coverage and make informed decisions about protecting what matters most to them.
Outside the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, cheering on my daughters at their sporting events, or working on classic cars. My current project is a 1970 Camaro that I’m resto moding.
